Audience Award Voting Now Open for 2016 GDCA and IGF Awards

Audience Award voting for both the 2016 Game Developers Choice Awards (GDCA) and the 2016 Independent Games Festival Awards (IGF Awards) is now open through February 19th at 11:59pm PT.

The winners will be announced live during the ceremonies on Wednesday, March 16th at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, as part of the 30th edition of the Game Developers Conference (GDC). The ceremonies will be livestreamed on Twitch at 6:30pm PT beginning with the IGF Awards, and followed by the Choice Awards. You can join the festivities on Twitch on March 16th at http://www.twitch.tv/gdca.

Anyone who would like to vote for the GDCA and IGF Audience Awards can cast their votes using the links below. Voters simply need to select the game they are voting for, and enter a valid email address. Email addresses will not be distributed, and your information will be deleted after the poll has closed.

Voters will select their Audience Award nominees from the list of finalists for the Game Developers Choice Awards and the Independent Games Festival Awards.

Previous winners of the GDCA Audience Award include Arkane Studios’ mystical assassin tale Dishonored and Squad’s space exploration sim Kerbal Space Program. IGF Audience Award winners include Castle Crashers by The Behemoth, Mojang’s Minecraft and, most recently, This War of Mine by 11 bit studios.
