Game Over OnlineVikings – Wolves of Midgard Gameplay Trailer
Kalypso Media has revealed a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming action RPG Vikings – Wolves of Midgard. The trailer offers a look at the environments gamers will be able to explore, as well as a sneak peek at the bosses, magical abilities and progression systems.
Vikings – Wolves of Midgard will be available in early 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Kalypso Media are knows for creating quality management and town building games, this will be their 2nd attempt at the rpg genre. Looks promising though, drawing inspiration from old classics and a new twist on the UI. On that note, it looks more like a big mobile UI, rather than a console/controller friendly setup. The tabbing in the skill tree department looks like a store taken from a free card game and the abilities zone is like a static hand of cards.
That said, it looks minimalist and clean – I like that. Can’t wait for more info later on.
