Cineplex and WorldGaming Launch Second National Tournament Featuring Street Fighter V

Cineplex and WorldGaming today announced that registration is now open for the ‘Cineplex WorldGaming Canadian Tournament Presented by PlayStation’ featuring Street Fighter V. The one-vs-one tournament’s Online Qualifiers will be produced by WorldGaming and the Regional Finals and Canadian Final events will be hosted at Cineplex theatres across Canada.

With over $25,000 in total prizing available, the winner of the final tournament is going home with $10,000 cash and $4,000 and $2,000 will be awarded to the second and third place winners respectively. Other prizing for gamers and the spectators cheering them on includes free movie passes, games, consoles and of course, bragging rights. Registration to play and compete in the tournament is absolutely free.

The ‘Cineplex WorldGaming Canadian Tournament Presented by PlayStation’ featuring Street Fighter V will begin with Online Qualifiers from March 21st – April 17th, moving to Regional Finals in 24 Cineplex theatres across Canada on May 1st. The tournament will culminate with the Canadian Finals event on May 29th in Toronto.
